Guy Koren, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Guy Koren
Guy is co-founder and CEO of Xsight Labs. Prior to Xsight Labs, Guy was the CTO of EZchip Technologies that was acquired by Mellanox in 2016 for $811M, and upon acquisition served as the Vice President of Architecture for the Ezchip business unit at Mellanox. Guy brings a deep understanding and vast experience in carrier and data center networks as well as multi-core technology. He holds a BSEE, summa cum laude, from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.

Gal Malach, Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer
Gal Malach
Gal is co-founder and CTO of Xsight Labs. Prior to Xsight Labs, Gal was a Lead Architect and Director of VLSI at Mellanox, through the EZchip Technologies acquisition, where he drove architecture definition and execution. In this role, Gal focused on designing programmable network devices targeting Layer 2-Layer 7 applications. Gal has over 20 years of experience in the networking industry and has held various senior engineering and management positions. Before joining EZchip Gal served as Global Manager of Methodologies, Design Automation, and CAD at Freescale and Motorola. He holds a BSEE from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and an MSc. In Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Hamutal Raab, Chief Operating Officer
Hamatal Raab
Hamutal is an entrepreneur with former experience in building companies from their incubation. Prior to joining Xsight Labs, Hamutal co-founded Theranica, a medical device company developing a drug-free migraine treatment. Hamutal served as COO of Siano Microelectronics, a global leader of MDTV Receivers over hand-held devices, from 2004 – 2016 and oversaw manufacturing chips, systems and end products. Hamutal has also worked at Zoran Microelectronics as the Israeli site manager and global Vice President. Hamutal holds a BA, summa cum laude, in linguistics from the Hebrew University.

Tsahi Daniel, Vice President of Architecture
Tsahi Daniel
Tsahi serves as the Vice President of Architecture for Xsight Labs. Tsahi has more than 20 years of experience in networking and VLSI. Prior to Xsight Labs, Tsahi was the co-founder and CTO of XPliant, which delivered the world’s first programmable 3.2Tbps data center switch and was acquired by Cavium Networks. Prior to XPliant, Tsahi was a networking CTO and held various engineering leadership positions Marvell. Tsahi holds a BSEE from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.

Rajagopal (Raj) Krishnaswamy, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development
Rajagopal (Raj) Krishnaswamy
Raj serves as the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Xsight Labs. Raj was part of the product management team at NetLogic Microsystems that was sold to Broadcom for $3.7B in 2012. He led the product management team for multiple product lines within the Compute and Connectivity Business Unit at Broadcom. Prior to Xsight Labs, Raj served as the Vice President of Product, Optical Communication at Rockley Photonics where he led the go-to-market strategy for Silicon Photonics chipsets for optical connectivity in data centers. Raj holds a MSEE from North Carolina State University.

Avigdor Willenz
Avigdor Willenz, Chairman of the Board
Xsight Labs’ founding investor, Avigdor Willenz, previously founded Galileo Technology, the pioneer of the merchant silicon switch business in the mid-1990s. Galileo Technology was acquired by Marvell in January 2001 for $2.7B. His other successful ventures and lead investments include Annapurna Labs, acquired by Amazon in January 2015; Leaba Semiconductor, sold to Cisco in March 2016; and Habana Labs, acquired by Intel in December 2019. In addition to being a founding investor at Xsight Labs, Avigdor also serves as the Chairman of the Board.

Manuel Alba
Manuel Alba
Manuel’s career has focused on technology marketing and business development, principally in semiconductors and hardware, and including executive positions in private and public companies. In 2005, he and a group of fellow angel investors began to create and help grow technology start-ups. He is currently an investor and board member in several international private technology companies, and has been a board member of various non-profit organizations in California. Manuel holds a BSEE from the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico City, MS degrees in Computer Engineering and Engineering Management from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Yair Shoham
Yair Shoham
Yair is an investment director focusing on investment opportunities related to Israel. Yair joined Intel Capital in 2012 after more than 13 years as a General Partner with Genesis Partners, one of Israel’s premier venture capital funds, where he focused on communication and consumer products investments. Yair was selected by the Israeli entrepreneurial community and the Israeli High-Tech Association as one of the top five VCs in Israel for the years 2006 through 2009. From 1996 to 2006, Yair was a member of the board of directors of M-Systems, a worldwide pioneer in flash data storage solutions, and was actively involved in the $1.55B sale of the company to SanDisk. Prior to joining Genesis Partners, Yair was a co-founder and managed the business development of two Israeli start-ups, Butterfly Communications (sold to Texas Instruments) and VDOnet (sold to Citrix Systems). Yair began his career practicing securities and corporate law, first in the US, and then in Israel, where he was a partner at Israel’s largest law firm. Yair holds a JD from Loyola University School of Law and a BA from Haifa University.

Scott Tobin
Scott Tobin
Scott is a General Partner at Battery Ventures, which he joined in 1997. He leads investments in the United States, Israel and Europe. Scott has focused on a variety of interests at Battery, including: venture capital and private equity investments in enterprise infrastructure, materials science, application software, business services, media and financial services. Scott has been named multiple times to the Forbes Midas List, which ranks top venture capitalists from around the world. He graduated with honors from Brandeis University with a BA in International Relations and Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies.

Gavin Baker
Gavin Baker
Gavin is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Atreides Management, LP. Prior to founding Atreides in 2019, Gavin was at Fidelity Investments from 1999 – 2017, most recently as the portfolio manager of the Fidelity OTC Fund from 2009 – 2017. The $17 billion Fidelity OTC Fund outperformed 100% of its Morningstar peers and won 6 Lipper awards over Gavin’s 8-year tenure as portfolio manager. Gavin was the Boston Globe’s Fund Manager of the Year in 2014 and his performance was recognized by articles in Barron’s, the New York Times, Investor’s Business Daily and the Wall Street Journal. He helped spearhead Fidelity’s venture capital investing and was a board observer at Nutanix, 23andME, Jet.com, AppNexus, Dataminr and Roku, among others. Gavin earned an AB in economics and history from Dartmouth College.
