October 2025 has become a milestone month for Xsight Labs, with four major partnership announcements with Edgecore Networks, Interface Masters, Hammerspace, and Cyber Forza, we are proving that our E1 800G Data Processing Unit (DPU) and X-Series programmable switch can unify compute, storage, and security under one open, high-performance fabric.

E1-AIC: The World’s First 800G DPU in PCIe® Add-In Card Form Factor

On October 9,Xsight Labs and Edgecore Networks announced the E1-AIC, the world’s first 800G DPU packaged as a PCIe® add-in card.

Built around Xsight’s E1 SoC with 64 Arm® N2 cores, the card supports flexible link configurations (2×400G, 4×200G, or 8×100G) and enables full line-rate offload for networking, storage, and security.

In real-world SONiC-DASH testing, the E1-AIC achieved 14.25 million flows per second with ZERO packet drops, proving it can handle hyperscale workloads with reliability and isolation. Xsight’s E1 is the only product in the world to reach this milestone. By removing data-plane tasks from host CPUs, the E1-AIC dramatically boosts efficiency for AI and cloud data centers.

Hammerspace: Flattening AI Warm Storage with Xsight’s 800G DPU

On October 14, Hammerspace selected the Xsight E1 800G DPU to architect a flattened, open network fabric for AI warm storage.

Traditional storage architectures rely on multiple x86 layers that throttle throughput and inflate cost. The new Hammerspace + Xsight design connects GPUs directly to flash storage at line-rate, eliminating legacy controllers and dramatically increasing performance.

Interface Masters EXA: Highest-Performance Programmable Switch Appliance

Just four days later, on October 13, we announced our partnership with Interface Masters to launch the Tahoe 3828 EXAv (Enhanced Switch Appliance) a world-first 11.2 Tbps smart switch platform powered by Xsight’s E1 DPU and X2 switch chip.

Housed in a compact 1RU chassis, EXA delivers 28×400G QSFP-112 ports and 128 Arm N2 cores, supporting advanced use cases like:

  • Real-time AI inference gateways
  • In-network telemetry and observability
  • Stateful firewalls and packet brokering
  • Carrier-grade SASE and CDN workloads

EXA consolidates multiple functions into one open, programmable fabric achieving unmatched performance per watt and per rack unit.

Cyber Forza: AI-Driven Cybersecurity at 800G

On October 15, Xsight Labs and Cyber Forza introduced a suite of AI-driven cybersecurity solutions designed to protect AI and cloud infrastructure at full 800G throughput.

The partnership integrates AI-based threat detection, zero-trust enforcement, and SASE capabilities directly into Xsight’s DPUs and switches moving security closer to the data itself.

By running Cyber Forza’s AI security stack natively on the Arm-based E1 and X2 platforms, the solution provides hardware-accelerated protection without adding latency or compute overhead. It’s the first 800G security platform available in both PCIe AIC and 1RU switch form factors.
