Description
Xsight Labs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team in a super existing time of significant growth and scale up.
Supply Chain Managers work as part of the operations team will manage and supervise the lifecycle of a product, from its creation to delivery to a customer.
The role of a Supply Chain Manager is to understand how each step in the production, manufacturing and distribution process work together, efficiently source raw materials, optimizing efficiency and products cost.
Supply Chain Managers coordinate the activities of different teams to get products to customers on time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and/or maintain supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and speed.
- Daily management of all suppliers.
- Collaborate with other departments to close operational gaps.
- Balance cost management and business growth including preparing and submit reports.
- Manage communications and negotiations with suppliers.
- Prepare long-term schedules for the company to ensure there is enough stock at any given time to meet demand.
Requirements
Skills and qualifications:
- Deep understanding and experience in practices of supply chain management
- 10 or more years of experience in manufacturing in a leadership role, and 4 or more of experience in supply chain management in a semiconductor xcompany.
- Experience and familiarity collaborating with the big players in the semiconductor industry (i.e. TSMC, ASE & Amkor, lead test houses, and qualification labs)
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
Education:
- BSEE /MSEE or BS/MS in industrial engineering
